The best female Ski jumpers will have to wait a bit longer for their first appearance on the Gorišek brothers’ Flying hill. Today’s historic first training session, which was scheduled to officially start at 9 a.m., has been postponed due to an unfavorable weather forecast and currently unsuitable weather conditions in Planica. It is now planned to take place in the afternoon.

There are 13 jumpers on the official start list, who will now have to wait a little longer for their opportunity to prove themselves and test the legendary flying hill.

Although many Ski jumping fans had already planned to travel to Planica, this is certainly a positive decision by the competition leadership and the Planica organizing committee. By postponing the training, they are ensuring equal conditions and, above all, safe circumstances for the athletes as they experience the world’s largest flying hill for the first time.

Provisional programme for Friday

13.45 | Trial Round - Men

Followed Official Training 1st Round - Women

15.00 | First Round - Men

Followed Final Round - Men
