FIS SKI JUMPING WORLD CUP FINALS PLANICA 2026
Unforgettable Planica 2026
Planica 2026 wrote a bold, fresh, and thrilling new chapter in the history of ski flying.
For the first time ever, fearless women took flight on the Letalnica bratov Gorišek, where Nika Prevc—winner of the overall World Cup title—delivered the standout moment, landing at a new women’s world record of 242.5 meters in her very first flight.
Home fans had plenty to celebrate thanks to the incredible Domen Prevc, who, just like throughout the World Cup season, shined in Planica 2026 with a victory and a second-place finish.
For some, Planica marked the beginning of a brilliant career, while for others, it was a farewell to the sport at the highest level. Polish ski jumping legend Kamil Stoch chose Planica as the stage for his final flight, receiving a heartfelt send-off filled with admiration and gratitude from thousands of fans, including a sea of Polish supporters.
Planica remains a true synonym for ski jumping and flying—where visitors experience not only elite sporting achievements but also an unforgettable atmosphere. An outstanding entertainment program ensured that 83,380 visitors across four competition days will carry memories of the valley beneath the Ponce mountains for years to come.
The Planica entertainment arena featured top Slovenian artists, including Siddharta, Vlado Kreslin & Mali Bogovi, Firbci, Elevators with Lea Sirk, and Masayah.
Planica once again proved it unites sport, passion, and history.
An event not to be missed—next year, even bolder, even further, even more unforgettable!

Where Dreams Come True
Between March 26 and 29, 2026, Planica will once again make history. The Valley under the Ponce Mountains, which for decades has hosted the grand finale of the Men's Ski Jumping World Cup, will this time be the stage for a groundbreaking moment. For the first time in history, women will take flight on the famous Gorišek Brothers Flying Hill.
Over the course of four days, Planica will host four competitions: two men’s individual events, one women’s individual event, and one men’s team event. With this, Planica will take a historic step forward and reaffirm its status as Slovenia’s biggest sporting event — a title it has proudly carried for decades as “the greatest Slovenian sports festival.”
