Frequently Asked Questions and Answers for Visitors to the Event in Planica

  1. Will tickets be available for purchase at the venue on the event day?
    If the event is not sold out, tickets will be available for purchase at the ticket booths at the entrance to the venue.

  2. Is re-entry allowed with a ticket?
    No. The ticket is valid for a one-time entry only.

  3. Can seats be reserved with a Grandstand ticket?
    No. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis until the seating capacity is full.

  4. I couldn't print my ticket. Can I show it on my mobile phone for entry?
    Yes, as long as the code is visible and recognizable by the electronic code reader. Code is valid once only.

  5. Am I entitled to a refund if I cannot attend the event?
    No. Refunds will only be provided according to legal provisions and general purchase terms, with appropriate proof of purchase.

  6. Is food and drink allowed at the venue?
    No, except for a sealed plastic water bottle (0.5L) for personal use. Medical exceptions for bringing drinks will be considered.

  7. Are dogs allowed at the event?
    No. Dogs and other animals are not allowed at the event.

  8. Can I bring an umbrella in case of bad weather?
    Foldable umbrellas are allowed. Umbrellas with a pointed end are prohibited.

  9. Is entry free for members of the SLOSKI Club?
    Active members with a valid membership card can enter for free on Thursday, March 26, 2026, and one additional day of their choice. Supportive members with a valid membership card can enter for free only on Thursday, March 26, 2026.

  10. Are children entitled to a free ticket?
    Children up to the age of 6 have free entry every day, while on Sunday, March 29, 2026, children up to 14 years old have free entry. A free ticket must be collected at the ticket booth upon arrival.

  11. Is the price for the stands the same for me and my child?
    On Friday, March 27, 2026, and Saturday, March 28, 2026, children up to and including 2 years of age may enter the grandstands free of charge when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian; however, they are not entitled to their own seat. Children aged 3 and over require their own grandstand ticket. On Sunday, March 29, 2026, children up to and including 2 years of age may enter the grandstands free of charge when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, again without their own seat. Grandstand tickets for children up to and including 14 years of age are offered at a 50% discount off the full ticket price.

  12. On Wednesday, March 26, 2026, I would like to watch the Flying Hill Trial. Do I need a ticket?
    Watching the Flying Hill Trial on Wednesday is free, and you do not need a ticket for entry.

  13. Do I need a permit to access the parking area at the Planica venue by bus or minibus?
    Yes, on Saturday, March 28, 2026 and Sunday, March 29, 2026. To obtain a permit for a bus, the purchase of at least 40 tickets is required. To obtain a permit for a minibus, the purchase of at least 25 tickets is required. To obtain the permit, proof of ticket purchase must be submitted by email to planica@sloski.si.

  14. Do I need a permit to access the parking area at the Planica venue by van?
    Yes, on Saturday, March 28, 2026 and Sunday, March 29, 2026. To obtain a permit for a van, the purchase of at least 6 tickets is required. To obtain the permit, proof of ticket purchase must be submitted by email to planica@sloski.si.

  15. Where can I park if I come to the event by car?
    Parking is available in Planica until the spaces are full, and also in Kranjska Gora, Podkoren, and Rateče at designated parking areas, where you will be directed by police officers and traffic managers. Parking in Kranjska Gora is available on public paid parking areas unless otherwise marked by the organizer. The organizer encourages carpooling, so please come to Planica in vehicles with as many passengers as possible.

  16. I will park in Kranjska Gora. Can I take a bus to Planica?
    Circular bus services will be available from Kranjska Gora and Podkoren, operating without a timetable. Free bus services are also available from Mojstrana and Gozd Martuljek, with the timetable available on the organizer's website.

  17. Do the circular buses stop in Rateče?
    Yes. For visitors parking in Rateče, a walking route to the venue will be arranged, the shuttle bus will also stop at Ledine.

  18. Can I walk to Planica from Kranjska Gora?
    Yes. A walking path of approximately 5 kilometers will lead you from Kranjska Gora to Planica. 
  1. Will there be special parking for disabled visitors in Planica?
    During the event in Planica, a limited number of parking spaces will be available for people with disabilities. These spaces may only be used by visitors who have an official parking permit issued by the organizer. To obtain a parking permit, please contact the organizer at planica@sloski.si.

  2. Is camping allowed at the parking areas during the event?
    No. Camping is strictly prohibited, as well as overnight stays in motorhomes. Campsites are available in Gozd Martuljek and Kamne  
  1. Is grilling allowed at the Planica venue?
    The use of open fire, grills, and personal food preparation is strictly prohibited. Official catering providers will prepare grilled specialties and other food for you at the venue.

  2. Where can I buy official fan merchandise?
    Official fan merchandise, clothing, hats, and badges will be available at stalls at the venue in Planica. You can also visit the official online store: SHOP NOW
  3. When does the venue close for visitors in Planica?
    Every day during the event, the Nordic Center Planica will close to visitors no later than 4 hours after the official end of the daily competition.

  4. I lost my child. Where can I find them?
    Immediately notify the first available organizer’s representative (volunteer, security guard, or police officer, or anyone wearing official organizer’s attire). When reporting, provide the child’s name, age, clothing description, and any other details that might help identify the child quickly. The organizer's staff will escort the child to the temporary Police station (a mobile container on the "B" parking lot, next to the military tent), where the child will wait until they are picked up by their parents or guardian.

  5. Will there be a special children’s or family program available during the event?
    For our youngest fans, Vita’s Land will be available on Saturday, 28 March 2026, and Sunday, 29 March 2026. It will feature Mini Planica, inflatable play areas, a special food and beverage offer for children, and a meet-and-greet with the mascot Vita heron.

  6. Is it allowed to leave the venue and re-enter between the men’s team competition and the women’s individual competition on Saturday, March 28, 2026?
    No, leaving the venue and re-entry will not be permitted. Tickets allow one-time entry only.

  7. Is it possible to attend the Official Women’s Training on Friday, March 27, 2026?
    Yes, but only with a valid ticket for the Men’s Individual Competition on Friday.

  8. On Friday, March 27, 2026, is it allowed to leave the venue during the Official Women’s Training and the Men’s Individual Competition and re-enter later?
    No, tickets allow single entry only.
