The beginning of ticket resale for the World Cup final

In Planica, the final FIS World Cup ski jumping event will once again take place on the Gorišek Brothers Flying Hill between March 21 and 24. The traditional season finale is an excellent opportunity to support Slovenian jumpers. Sunny weather, long flights, and the best fans—all of this can be found in Planica.

Today, on Thursday, December 21, 2023, the national championship in ski jumping took place in Planica. As soon as the national champion was announced, the presale of tickets for the Men's Ski Jumping World Cup final began. What can we expect from the Planica events in the new year?

The ski jumping festival will kick off on Wednesday, March 20, with a trial on the flying hill. Wednesday is also the day when many young Slovenian jumpers will have their first opportunity to fly.

On Thursday, March 21, it's Children's Day in Planica. The stands are mostly filled with the youngest sports enthusiasts at that time. Schoolchildren passionately cheer for all the competitors, creating a magical atmosphere in the valley beneath the Ponce Mountains. For many children, this is also their first contact with ski jumping, a great opportunity to create their first sports memories or meet their idols.

On Friday, March 22, the battle for the podium begins with the first individual competition. In the afternoon, Slovenian jumpers, inspired by the sea of Slovenian flags, will be chasing record distances and impressive results.

Saturday, March 23, marks one of the highlights of the ski jumping weekend. The team competition is usually the favorite of both jumpers and spectators, bringing a different atmosphere. The connection between fans and jumpers, team spirit, and long flights—all of this can be experienced in Planica.

The last competition of the season will take place on Sunday, March 24. The top thirty jumpers will compete in a spectacular event, followed by a festive award ceremony for the best. The large crystal globe, the Nations Cup, the small crystal globe for flights, and awards for the top three in Sunday's competition will be presented.

Tickets are exclusively available at Kompas sales points and also on Eventim and at Petrol sales points.
