FIS Ski Flying World Championship Postponed to 2020-21 season

Due to the continued outbreak and spread of the Novel Coronavirus and newly announced travel restrictions, the FIS Ski Flying World Championship in Planica (SLO) scheduled to take place 19th-22nd March 2020 has been postponed until the 2020-21 season.

The new date will be confirmed together with the FIS Council, following discussions between the LOC, FIS including the Ski Jumping Committee and the Media and Commercial Rights Holders.

The health and welfare of the athletes and all other participants, as well as the general public are in the forefront and the priority of all stakeholders.

The instructions and decisions of the National and Regional Governments and their Health Authorities are decisive in any recommendation regarding public gatherings that impact FIS competitions.

Ticket holders will be informed by the Planica Organizers about the next steps in due course and would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during these extraordinary circumstances.
