Planica - Read some short news from Planica.
- Ski-flyers in Planica always get big support from crowds. Planica's DJ also plays athletes music wishes while they perform. Weary interesting is music wish from Janne Ahonen and Matti Hautameki. As they currently wear beard, they jump on ZZ-Top's music. Second competition day they will shave, but still wear mustaches and dance on YMCA, for team event …
- On Thursday organizers did prepare a special program for kids, which did travel to Planica with 70 buses in cooperation with Triglav insurance company. Kids had fun on special area with popular Slovenian artist ALYA… They also toke care for trash, so Planica did stay clean also after their departure…
- Roar Ljoeklsoy will end his career in ski-jumping/flying in next days. Last jump will be specially announced, his Norwegian friends did prepare also a surprise in outrun of the hill
- Branko Iskra of Slovenia did also announce his last flight in Planica. Branko did take responsibility and pleasure of first jump on Planica ski flying hill in last three years and will continue his carrier as coach in local club of Bohinj
