Lindvik wins last competition of the season

Marius Lindvik has won the last event of the season. Yukiya Sato surprised even himself and finished in second place, followed by Peter Prevc.

Lindvik was the strongest jumper in today´s competition. Sato gained two places in the second round with on of the longest jumps of the day and finished on the podium. Local hero Peter Prevc also gained two places and finished in third place.

Ryoyu Kobayashi has won the world cup standings and crystal globe. Austria won the nations cup before Slovenia by only 47 points. Jelar won small crystal globe for ski flying and Timi Zajc beat Lindvik in the Planica 7 standings by only 3.8 points.

Ryoyu Kobayashi: “The atmosphere was nice and I am very happy that I got another crystal globe.”

Marius Lindvik: “It is insane to end the season with a victory. My jumping was good, we have seen a lot of long jumps and it is a great way to end a season.”

Yukiya Sato: “I ended the season with second place and I am very happy, but this result really came as a surprise.”

Peter Prevc: “It was an exceptional day with long jumps. It was a long competition, time- and lengthwise. This is it.’’

Žiga Jelar: “Amazing! As I mentioned yesterday, I am currently living my dreams. Its great and the feeling is truly amazing.”
