Schlierenzauer wins first competition in Planica

Planica - Austrian ski jumper Gregor Schlierenzauer continue winning streak in Planica. Today he make 13th win in this season and set new record. 10.500 spectators under the hill saw just one serie, because of the problem with the wind. Second place won the Pole Adam Malysz, the third was Russian Dimitry Vassiliev. Excellent flying the Slovenian eagles. Robi Kranjec wins 7th place, Jernej Damjan was two places behind him.

Victory in Planica is always fantastic. Planica is the biggest jumping hill in the world and win here awoke  really special feeling. You are very proud of yourself and happy. I hope on a better weather tomorrow. With the team we go tomorrow for a win.

I waited a long time for top 3 result and finally I make it in Kuopiužo. This are my second top 3 this season and it was a little suprise even for me.

Dimitry Vassiliev
In this season I have had many good results. I am very happy with third place, which I have reached here in Planica, where the atmosphere and it surroundings is great.
